Café Alma is the cafeteria (or canteen) in the cellar vaults of the University Hall, and has been serving lunch to students, staff and visitors since the 1950’s. Usually open during weekday lunch hours, the kind personell has offered to extend their hours to match our convention schedule!
During the convention, members will be able to purchase an asortment of sandwiches and sallads, some hot dishes for lunch, a variety of pastries and snacks, as well as tea, coffee, beer and wine, at Café Alma. (Like with most restaurants, you are not allowed to bring your own food and beverages).
You can pay with credit or debit card, Swish (the Swedish cash app), and gophers will also be able to use groats (vouchers)!

Café Alma’s Opening Hours:
Thursday, 8th: 10.00 – 19.00 (10AM – 7PM)
Friday, 9th: 10.00 – 20.00 (10AM – 8PM)

The Green Room
For all panelists, moderators, workshop leaders and lecturers, the Green Room is a good place to collect your thoughts, discuss, grab a cuppa and prepare. The Konflikt 2023 Green Room is downstairs, in Café Alma´s Chambre Separée.

As mentioned in multiple places (the venue site, the Access Statement, in previous Instagram posts etc.) there are restrictions in regards to eating and drinking in the University Hall.
No food or drink is to be had in the great Auditorium, the Dealers’ Hall, in any of the class rooms and seminary halls. So basically…almost everywhere is off limits! (This is not the case with water, so you are welcome to bring your own water bottle and keep in mind that the tap water is drinkable!).
In other words, if you feel hungrig, peckish, in need of a sweet or an extra cup of coffee, and don’t want to leave the venue – get yourself down to Alma!
